The Ranger features a double A-arm independent front suspension system that helps you take command on the toughest trails. The shocks have a monotube design for exceptional resistance to wear and heat dissipation. These shocks are also nitrogen gas-pressurized for shock-damping consistency on rough roads. The rear suspension of the truck features 2-stage parabolic leaf springs that were designed to reduce stiffness. The rear suspension also features nitrogen gas-pressurized shocks that contribute to the truck's smoothness and consistency.

4x4 Electronic Shift-On-The-Fly is available with the Ranger. This feature makes shifting as simple as turning a dial. You can choose between two four-wheel drive modes with this system and one two-wheel drive mode. The Ranger also offers advanced capability with the Terrain Management System.
